Tapia Family

Sunday, December 13th, 2009

What can I say about the Tapia family, except that they are amazing!!!!! Yes amazing.  If I had to make a list of my favorite people right now they would be at the top.  I met Stephanie through OCO Biomedical, alittle company I use to work for before I started my photography business.  She was the nicest, kindest caring person in the office and I believe she still is.  I’m just starting to get to know Paul, but it’s so easy to see his great heart when your around him.  This family is a portrait of what family should be, they love God and they love each other.  When she told me they never had a family picture taken I was so honored to be part of Tapia family history and I hope they are truly blessed by these photos.

Stella + Jengo

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

Stella and Jengo are both Rhodesian Ridgebacks.  Now, I have never seen a Rhodesian Ridgeback until today, so I had no idea what to expect.  When we arrived, I say we, because I dragged my husband Justin along with me, we were greeted by some of the most stunning dogs I have ever seen.  They are absolutely amazing.  Stella who has the lighter coat was sweet and exciting.  Jengo was more timid but just as sweet.  They made the cutest pair.   These dogs are lion hunters, yes, lions and after meeting one in person you can see why.   They having this coloring almost identical to that of a lion and they have an amazing line that runs down their back.  Hence, the name ridgeback.  I have to say after today’s experience I am head over paws in love with pet photography.

Here’s a few of my favs from the day!

This picture totally makes me laugh.

Jengo plays it alittle more safe then Stella.  Everytime he heard the click of the camera he would run into the other room.

Here you can see the ridge in their back that gave them the name Rhodesian Ridgebacks.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks were bred in South Africa for lion hunting.  They are fast and strong.

DION & ASHLEY: ANYTIME

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

Awhile back, I managed to convince my gal pal Ashley to let me take a few shots of her and her man, Dion.  She agreed.  They have one of those exciting stories about, girl meets boy, boy lives hundreds of miles away and somehow fate brought them together.  Anyways, we had a great time despite the 1,000 degree weather.  I was accompanied by one of my best friends, Alena, she’s a photographer too and we managed to get some great shots.  Here’s a few of my favs from the day.  Ashley and Dion thanks for the great day, you rock!
